Preparation

  1. Cook the Beef Kaldereta Aussie Pie

    120 minutes
    • Combine the liquid seasoning, vinegar, and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
    • Marinate the beef using this mixture for 6 hours.
    • Heat the oil in a pan and sear the marinated beef.
    • Add the onions, garlic, beef broth base, and tomato paste to the pan.
    • Stir the mixture very well and cook the tomato paste.
    • Add the water and bay leaf to the pan.
    • Simmer the mixture until the beef becomes fork-tender.
    • Stir in the liver spread to the mixture.
    • Allow the mixture to cool and then strain the sauce.
    • Shred the cooked beef and use it as a filling for the pie.
    • Portion the shredded beef into prepared pie crusts.
    • Add the strained sauce and vegetables to the pie crusts.
